Meet the artist behind the creations!
I am a UK-based artist living in the beautiful county of Worcestershire.
Predominantly self taught, I am inspired by colours, nature, and feelings. I work mainly in acrylics.
All my art is inspired by nature or the urban landscape. The way colours natural merge and contrast in all that we see follows no guidelines and conforms to no rules.
THE FLUID WORLD
We have all heard the sayings such as ‘blue and green should never be see, except with a colour in between’. This is clearly nonsense as demonstrated in every view of blue skies and verdant trees. There are similar phrases discouraging other colour combinations. One such phrase is “red and green should only be seen on an Irish queen.” Tell this to the red roses in my garden!
Colours that ‘do not work together’ are seen effortlessly combining all around us and it is these concepts that drive my imagination and my art. Whilst there are many different methods used for fluid art work I like to work organically. Allowing the colours to flow in an unconstrained way at the same time as manipulating the shapes and patterns that form to create my paintings.
Taking fragments of paintings or digital versions of whole paintings I then create a wide variety of products which enable me to sell my original artwork at even more affordable prices. Not everyone has room for a large painting but how nice to have some original artwork placemats or coasters!
I also create original works on small items, such as ceramic coasters, pieces of slate, or wood slices. These one off works of art can often be used decoratively or functionally.
The creation of my art results in run off waste paint that forms in beautiful patterns. Rather than just dispose of this I allow it to dry. This creates acrylic skins which I then use to make unique pieces of jewellery. With prices again kept low so that everyone can enjoy to wear some highly unusual pendants, earrings, bracelets or cuff links.
Commissions are welcomed and I work with you to agree colours and size. This means that no matter what your budget, your wall size, or your colour scheme, you can have a one of a kind, bespoke painting.
You will find mainly contemporary and abstract artwork within the selection of original paintings on sale. If you like bold statement pieces or more ethereal pieces my art makes a beautiful addition to any wall.
Hand painted, with love, in my home studio, I aim to keep my work affordable as I believe we should all be able to enjoy beautiful artwork.

I don’t like to be pigeon-holed and so neither is my art! After a long and successful career my energy now is put into my paintings.
